In order to keep ourselves educated it’s necessary to read and understand the Health Care Bill that has been thrust upon us and is now the law. Although bulky when printed out, it will fit nicely on a bookshelf among your Stephen King collection of horror stories. This tome is open to any number of interpretations by any number of people. It will be years before the full impact of this bill is felt by all Americans and certainly not in a positive way.

For your reading pleasure or displeasure, here is H.R. 3590 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act as well as H.R. 4872 Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010.

H.R.3590
Title: Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act

H.R.4872
Title: Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010

The bill makes a number of health-related financing and revenue changes to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act enacted by H.R.3590 and modifies higher education assistance provisions.

Signed into law today by Barack Obama, March 30, 2010.
