9/11: The War on Dementia

Seven years and we are still at war with a group of demented beings with warped minds. These beings hide behind innocent men, women, children and the Islamic religion in order to carry out their dirty deeds. They also attack the same people and religion they hide behind. Who can forget the Palestinians dancing in the streets after the attacks? How can a group of human beings come together in joyous celebration over the mass murder of thousands of innocent people? We live in a very harsh world. Now is the time to remember those that were lost that day and those that have been lost since then that brought the fight to the enemy. This is “The Long War” and there are many more battles and skirmishes to come. We are a steadfast nation and will persevere with good overcoming evil. News of “The War” has faded to the background. Make no mistake, our warriors continue to be in harm’s way every moment of every day. While you sleep, when you work, relax on vacation, and spend time with your family your military is on patrol in some of the most dangerous and unforgiving terrain on earth. This former warrior will not forget.
