A Letter to President Obama

Dear Mr. President,

I was a staunch supporter of you throughout your entire campaign for President. It is with great pleasure that I write to you as my President of the United States. We fought the good fight and won. In our fight of “stickin’ it to the man” I would like to tell you my personal story. For the past 10 years I worked for a very prosperous small business. With your initiative of increasing the taxes on only the rich my company passed on this increase to our customer base with a subsequent loss in revenue. The loss in revenue resulted in the downsizing of this company. Three employees lost their jobs here in the name of rightsizing. I was one of those employess that was terminated. But, I understand and will happily and proudly stand in the unemployment line knowing that the big, bad, mean, rich people are now paying their fare share of taxes because everyone knows they don’t deserve to have all that money. That extra tax money will also come in handy when I go pick up my food stamps to feed my family. You see, taxing the rich is already paying off for my family and me so I thank you. Continue to live up to the promise and keep up the good work.

Yours in the Fight!
