Minnesota Sends A Buffoon to Washington

Minnesota’s Supreme Court ruled in favor of Democrat Al Franken on Tuesday sending the former Saturday Night Live comedian to the U.S. Senate unseating Republican Norm Coleman.

Franken is another liberal Democrat riding into Washington on the Bush-hating wave. This should be the last one. From this date forward the problems and solutions all belong to the Democrats. They can no longer continue to blame George Bush, he is gone and there has been a Congressional Democratic majority for over two years.

But now it’s payback time for Al Franken. You can be sure that he will vote the party line on all liberal agendas in order to “pay back” the liberal money that was donated to his campaign. Not to mention that Obama now has one more minion at his beck and call. Franken brings the number of Democratic Senators to 60 which means a filibuster-proof Senate. Stand by to have the government reach into every crack and crevice of American life.

Franken should feel right at home with the cast of characters in the Democratic Senate not unlike the characters portrayed during his years with Saturday Night Live.

When Minnesotans voted Jesse “The Body” Ventura for Governor it only affected them. Now that they have elected a professional clown to the United States Senate it affects all Americans – and it’s not funny.
