Jimmy Carter Deals the Race Card
Here he is, the economic failure himself, the one term wonder, the worst and most inept President in American history trotting out in front of the cameras with the ignorance and stupidity that gives Southerners a bad name. He’s now claiming if you disagree with Obama you are a racist. Does anyone anywhere give this old curmudgeon one ounce of credibility? Oh, that’s right, the terrorists of the world that he defends do. Osama Bin Laden on Monday recommended Carter’s book “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid” in a communique from the cave. Maybe Jimmy should find the cave that Bin Laden is holed up in and join him for book reviews.
Let’s just forget the fact that people are just plain disgusted with big government intruding on every aspect of the American way of life as well as stimulus bills and pending health care reforms crammed down their throats. If citizens don’t like it and voice their opinion in opposition then they are labeled Nazis, angry mobs, right wing extremists, and un-American by the Democratic leadership. But better yet, just claim racism to instantly take the heat and focus off of any issue. According to the liberal left when you disagree with Barack Obama it is pure unadulterated racism.
It appears that we have entered a new era in American politics whereby if you disagree with anything that the President proposes you are immediately labeled a racist. That is convenient for this White House administration and up until now would obviously not have worked.
Was there anything in Carter’s pathetic dribble that hinted the President’s policies were the best for America? Or was the message that Obama is black and you better agree with everything he says. Could there be a little self guilt exuding from the former President with him being a Son of the South?
It is hoped by many in this country that Obama will be the one term wonder that Jimmy Carter was. Not because he is black but because of his big government ideals and running this country into exorbitant debt with a “spreading the wealth” policy.
When one person calls another a racist what does that say about the accuser? Does it take one to know one?
