Obama Commencement Speech – “I Haven’t Done Enough”

“I come to embrace the notion that I haven’t done enough in my life. I heartily concur. I come to confirm that one’s title, even a title like president of the United States, says very little about how well one’s life has been led — and that no matter how much you’ve done, or how successful you’ve been, there’s always more to do, always more to learn, and always more to achieve.”
~President’s Commencement Address at ASU – May 13, 2009

While delivering a commencement address at Arizona State University Barack Obama proclaimed, “I haven’t done enough.”

Let’s review a few things that you “haven’t done”:

  • Lifted the ban on federal funding for international groups that promote or perform abortions.
  • Signed an executive order closing the Guantanamo detainee center within a year with no plan for relocating detainees.
  • Rushed a stimulus bill through without a thorough review with billions of dollars of pork spending.
  • Embarked on a European apology tour.

Oh, but Mr. President, you have done enough. Too much, too fast, and too soon. But then, there are no honorary degrees for that.
