To celebrate the incoming 2009 New Year, TwoPolitics.com has highlighted
some of the new resolutions to come out of U.S. federal and state
legislative bodies.

* California House resolution to condemn planet Pluto’s newfound
non-planetary status
* Pennsylvania House resolution to make the chocolate chip the official
cookie of the state (Official drink? It’s milk!)
* Idaho House resolution honoring Napoleon Dynamite for drawing
attention to the state, tater tots, and its famous potato industry
* Oklahoma only “fire-safe” cigarettes designed to prevent fires will be sold in the state
* South Carolina resolution requiring 1,500 hours of instruction to
shampoo hair at a salon
* in New Hampshire a new law makes public urination or defecation a violation punishable by up to a $1,000 fine.

Any from your state? Let us know.

Happy New Year!
